Lovely biodynamic blend of Merlot with a little bit of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon added made by the Weninger family. The Weninger family makes red wines in the Austrian Burgenland and also has vineyards in the neighbouring Hungarian Sopron. This dry red is a bit peppery on the nose with some red cherries and green berries aromas, so you can really recognise all three varieties involved, but it’s best to let it breathe for half an hour when served. On the palate there are some fine tannins which give a pleasant mouthfeel.
The wine was produced without the use of chemicals, no industrial yeasts added and as little sulphite as possible.
