This white is made from 100% Bugava (Vugava) grape variety found only on the Croatian coast and mostly cultivated on the island of Vis, hence the wine bears the name Issa - Vis in Greek. Vugava, often compared to Viognier, is usually blended with other varieties, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, so this is another thing that makes this wine special. This variety usually has a high sugar content, ripe fruit aromas and a low acidity.
The grapes were grown on the island of Vis and the vinification was done in Istria using neutral tanks.
