The wine is crystal clear, the color of gold/amber. The bouquet is ripe as juicy yellow peaches, segments of yellow fruit, and small nuts, especially hazelnuts and licorice. The mouthfeel is full and mature. The wine exhibits a consistent minerality that feels like soft, fine-grained tannins. It is slightly creamy with a medium-long finish. Goes well with vegetable dishes, especially grilled mushrooms or mushroom sauce, smoked or rich fish and seafood (lobster, octopus), duck, chicken, and lamb.
