This is an interesting Saperavi fermented and macerated in the qvevri, but then matured in a stainless steel tank. This process made the Saperavi, a usually quite heavy and intense wine, fruity and very drinkable.
This medium bodied Saperavi is a deep dark red but stands out for its lively acidity. It has a lot of ripe fruit of black currants and dark red cherries.
