Sklep 58 literally means Cellar 58 and it is a micro winery run by two young winemakers, Jakub and Filip who met at the school of Viticulture. In the cellar everything is done by hand, including manual grape crushers and basket presses.
The Kosmonaut rosé is made from a hybrid called Laurot (a cross of Merlot and Seibel) and Fratava (a cross of Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent). On the nose you will experience red fruits and ripe strawberries. Drinking it, recognize fruity red, candy-ish notes but with good acidity, which saves it from being a sweet rosé. For a rosé it is quite dark in colour, though juicy and fruity fresh wine. No added sulfur and no filtration. Nicely combined with food.
