Exotic nose with a herbal character on the edges, nice fleshiness on the palate coming from spending three weeks on part of the skins. Bone dry and lip smackingly delicious.
Second fermentation in the bottle. Unclarified, unfiltered and virtually no sulfites. Bottled under a slightly less pressure than usual and as a result, it has a light mousse texture.
Krasna Hora is a small family business from the southeastern Czech Republic, an hour's drive from Vienna. The Vybíral family has been making wines here since the 1960s. They do this biodynamically, which is certainly not easy in this relatively cold area that lies at the same height as Burgundy and Alsace.
