Rather a fat white, than an orange. Let’s call it a lighter orange.
This Georgian orange wine comes from the vicinity of Tbilisi, where wines are not as intense as the ones from the eastern wine province of Kakhetia. That is because of a shorter maceration and less skins used, which results in a lighter body and much less or almost no tannins.
Thai Chinebuli smells like blossom, apple and mandarin peel. It is nicely balanced, very fine, soft orange wine with quite a body.
